People always ask me what it takes to build a successful mediation practice. For me, the key has been networking. There's a direct correlation in my practice between the amount of networking I do and the work that I bring in a couple of months later. By way of example, I let off the gas in my networking between Thanksgiving and the New Year, and I had a REALLY slow January and early February. Conversely, I networked at least three times a week in February and early March and my May calendar has been full for weeks.
